The Light Aircraft Company (TLAC), the UK’s CAA-approved manufacturer and importer of microlights announced that it is streamlining its portfolio of aircraft to the entry-level models such as the Bobcat to the high-performance Shark and the popular C42. To support this focus, the company intends to divest its other aircraft models, including the KUB, Ranger, and Scout, previously manufactured by TLAC.

“We are committed to delivering the best products and services for our customers, and this streamlined approach allows us to dedicate more resources to our core offerings,” said CEO, Paul Hendry Smith of The Light Aircraft Company. “The Kub, Ranger, and Scout are all wonderful aircraft, but space constraints mean we have to make tough decisions. We’re confident this move will better position us to meet the needs of our aviation customers.”

The Light Aircraft Company invites interested parties to reach out regarding the purchase of these turnkey businesses including components, manufacturing tools, and intellectual property associated with the KUB (Single Seat Deregulated), Ranger 2 seat biplane, and Scout 2 seat high wing monoplane models. This is an opportunity to acquire the assets of these aircraft.
