PAT Avionics America, LLC announces a promotion on its heads-up display unit, the G-HULP. Until the end of the year, G-HULP for Dynon SkyView is being offered at over 30% off its suggested retail price. The G-HULP includes the HUD, the laser projecting system, and all cables and brackets required for the installation.
The G-HULP is a Heads Up Laser Projector designed for sport aircraft and gliders that enables pilots to fly their aircraft while looking outside, as military and commercial pilots do. In 2009, an independent Flight Safety Foundation study found that 38% of all accidents were likely or highly likely to have been prevented if the pilot had a heads-up display. The study also came to the conclusion that 69% of landing and takeoff accidents and 57% of loss of control could have been avoided if the pilot had access to the information available on a HUD, the company says.
During the holidays, the G-HULP stand-alone product is also available at the new discounted promotional price of $3,990. This version of the heads-up display can be installed in any cockpit and works with virtually any EFIS.
