A line of severe thunderstorms moved through the Sun n Fun Fly-In at around noon on March 31. There is no official report on injuries yet, but dozens of exhibitor tents were destroyed, and numerous aircraft and some buildings were damaged. AvWeb is reporting that a tornado touched down on the airfield, though it is difficult to ascertain at this time whether the damage was caused by a tornado or the high winds, which briefly gusted at more than 80 mph during the deluge.
