It’s Ready For You!

They’ve updated the date under the Brown Arch, so it must be time for annual gathering in “the little drinking town with an airplane problem” (I saw that on a waitress’s T-shirt last night at Friar Tucks)! The grounds are mowed, the flower pots are out, tents are going up, and the weather is fine – AirVenture is waiting for you. As of Friday mid-afternoon, reports are that the Vintage area is filling up (aren’t most of the GA SPAM Cans vintage now?) and we’ve seen the mass arrival of Piper Cherokees – but the homebuilt areas are filling a little more slowly than we would have imagined given the weather and the internet buzz about arriving early to avoid the crowds at Fisk.

But it might just be that the forecast is for “nice,” so folks aren’t in a rush. Regardless – everything looks good for a great show, and we’re looking forward to seeing you here!
