Every Tuesday night at AirVenture brings the gathering of Van’s Air Force and tonight was not an exception. RV loyalists came together at the Nature Center Pavilion to raise a glass, share a meal, and swap RV stories. Gus Funnell emceed the evening, introducing various Van’s Aircraft staff members and partner companies.
Rian Johnson showed videos of stress test on the new RV nose gear option. Guest speakers were air show announcer and RV-7A owner/pilot Rob Reider and airshow performer Ken Reeder of Redline Airshows who performs in an RV-8. (Redline is scheduled to perform in the Wednesday evening airshow at AirVenture.)
