The EAA offers a basic metal building workshop at AirVenture mid-day for the next two days. This workshop is for women and taught by an all-women group of instructors headed by KITPLANES’ own Louise Hose. Measuring, punching, drilling, deburring edges and corners, pulling rivets, and more skills are taught as the women build a cool, Zenith Aircraft three-ring binder that they take home. The workshop is free, popular, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis so arriving early is encouraged. The fun takes place between 11:00 am and 12:45 pm on Monday (7/22) and Tuesday (7/23) at the Sheet Metal Building Workshop (J-10).
