This is actually my third attempt at an experimental. Three others started, but life kept getting in the way. After retiring from a 25-year law enforcement career, there were no more excuses. All the metal work was done in my home hangar. I transported the fuselage, wings and tail (plus LOTS of other bits) to Wheels and Wings in Lake City Florida. There the engine, avionics were installed and the final assembly took place. A few squawks after the first flight were resolved and 80 hours later, I’m still smiling.
I live in a very active fly-in community in Port Orange, Florida and have privilege of he having the only Zenith on the field!
