John Moody, widely regarded as the Father of Ultralights, is revered by legions of light plane enthusiasts. As he has been getting along in years, John does not get to come to as many aviation events as he used to. However, Paul Czarnecki, a media team guru at Paradise City (the official place name of the Light Plane/Ultralight field at Sun ‘n Fun) was able to talk Paul into one more appearance at SnF.
John will bring his legendary Easy Riser ultralight to the show and, if all the stars align just right, will fly it from the Paradise City runway. John is also scheduled to give a presentation at the light plane forum tent on this Friday at 10:30 a.m. Folks predict a standing room only crowd, eager to hear about the infancy of ultralight aviation in the 70s and the early 80s.
