“DESIGN, BUILD, TEST” is a documentary film that will follow a community of experimental test pilots in the Mojave Desert as they race to prepare themselves and their planes for the Mojave Experimental Fly-In, a week-long record setting event in which they will all be flying aircraft that they have designed and built themselves.
This is the story of a community that is deeply committed to breaking new ground in aviation without any guarantee of safety or success, and they rely solely on their own courage, ingenuity and drive to push the limits to accomplish this feat. They live their entire lives within the endless loop of DESIGN, BUILD, TEST – the pursuit of faster, higher, longer, farther, better, with no rules.
The video is being shot during the build up to the Mojave Experimental Fly-In and the record setting that is a part of the event. The movie trailer shows the 6-7 days of shooting done with the participants preparing for the event.
