Cool Cowlings at James Aircraft

We last spoke to Jimmy Cox, the new owner of James Aircraft, at the 2021 Reno races. Then he was getting the fiberglass specialist back into production mode and promising some cowlings for the RV-10 and -14.

At Air Venture Jimmy was reporting progress, saying production is up and running well, demand good, deliveries are taking place. He was displaying his latest RV cowlings, those promised -10 and -14 RV pieces. They’re designed to work with Van’s baffling and have a bump for the ever more popular air conditioning option (or not as you wish).

Pricing for either cowling is currently $1,650, but along with everything else will likely go up before too long.
