MGL Avionics has announced its new V10 VHF radio transceiver, the first commercial product whose audio processing and much of the transmitter and receiver circuitry is digital, with the commensurate outstanding quality, the company says.

With less than 60 days until Oshkosh, the Lancair development team has been pushing flat out to get the piston version of the turbine-powered Evolution flying. We were in Redmond the week after Memorial Day to see the engine fired up for the first time on the airframe, and now Lancair says that the Evolution has committed its maiden flight.
