Ahhh, Oshkosh; airplanes, friends… and landscaping? Yes, there is a small army of EAA employees who (among other things) cut the grass and shovel wood chips so you don’t walk in the mud.
Like the staff at a good hotel, they mostly go unnoticed, but here for your inspection are three straight from the front lines (L to R), Tristen Knuijt, Tom Wecker, and Michael Schrauth. Naturally, as aviation event professionals, they have call signs… Number One, Dude, and Makala. Nice midwestern kids working hard on their own… just one more thing to feel good about at OSH.
