The votes are in, and Lou Kitz of Darrington, WA will take away a $25 Gift Card from Aircraft Spruce for all the work he put in to his beautiful wiring job. Asked how he achieved his winning winning wiring, he responded “This is the wiring I did in the seat pan of N87RH – a Glasair III I helped Ron Hoelting build, where we joined the wing and fuselage wiring. Also visible is the wiring in the center console. Hydraulic tubing below and the antenna, Main power, and system wiring suspended above and kept separate from each other.” A fine example for all of us still stringing wires in our project!
Next Best of… Your homebuilt with a sunset
For our next “Best Of….”, let’s head to the artistic side of the homebuilt movement – the one where we get to enjoy our creations in the real world. Send us the best picture of your homebuilt aircraft with a Sunset – it might be over the mountains, sitting in a beautiful runway campground, or in front of a concrete jungle – airplanes and sunsets just go so well together! Fame, glory and a $25 Gift Card from Aircraft Spruce are on the line!
