Aircraft Sales and Parts Ltd., the manufacturer of the Summit and Steel Breeze powered parachutes (in addition to the Chinook Plus 2 and Beaver RX550 Plus), has announced that effective February 1, 2010, its PPC division will be sold to Summit Aerosports, Inc., in Yale, Michigan. New owner Ken Bricker is no stranger to powered parachutes, as he and his business partner have been longstanding dealers for the Summit. New owner Trevor Evans has many hours in a variety of Light Sport Aircraft, and his business partner is a commercially licensed pilot with nearly 1000 hours in powered parachutes.
