ADS-B and the Fisk Arrival

Ever wonder what the Fisk Arrival looks like to someone watching a radar scope? Here is an image from Gary Baker, member of the EAA Homebuilt Council) taken from his ADS-B display on Sunday. From the ground, the arrivals were steady, but organized, and nowhere near as frenetic as “Arrival Sunday” at last year’s AirVenture.

It’s a busy world out there, and even with the best technology, the Mark 1 Eyeball and a good scan is your best way to stay safe.
