Tim and Andrea Olson arrived at OSH with their 2 daughters, Colleen and Danielle, in true Aviator’s style–with dad flying the recently completed RV-14 and Mom flying the RV-10.
Yep, they are a 2-RV family, having built both airplanes. Tim’s RV-14 was the first customer-built 14 to OSH. Andrea went and got her license after enjoying all of the family flying in the RV-10. Initially thinking she would be terrified of soloing an aircraft, she now has close to 250 hours! Colleen, who is 17, absolutely loves doing aerobatics with her dad. She also is wonderful at editing my posts! And Danielle, who is 15, appears to be an aspiring aviator, having a goal to solo before AirVenture 2017. She has 5 logged hours with a CFII and lots more with dad. Her favorite part is flying around the clouds! Watch for a follow up next AirVenture.
