The new Cross Country Backpack from Sporty’s was created to accommodate the flight gear pilots typically carry: headsets, flashlight, fuel tester, handheld radio and more.
The backpack has a padded headset pocket with built-in battery holders, while an internal iPad sleeve keeps iPads protected. A padded laptop compartment fits most 17-inch computers; a pocket on the shoulder strap holds a cell phone. The rubberized bottom means that you can place the Cross Country Backpack on a damp surface with no fear of damaging the contents.
The transceiver pocket features a patented split flap at the top to allow the antenna to stick up. Inside, a custom sleeve will store the antenna when not in use.
Constructed of heavy-duty nylon, the backpack is backed by a six-year guarantee. It measures 18x14x7 inches and costs $64.95.
