CubCrafters is on track to deliver its 200th Light Sport Aircraft in February. The company offers two models of LSA, the 100-horsepower Sport Cub S2 and the 180-hp Carbon Cub SS, which has won virtually every STOL competition in which it was entered, the company says.
“We are spending as much time developing our fleet infrastructure as we are working on product development,” says General Manager Randy Lervold. “Both are high priorities here at CubCrafters.”
In December the company added 15,000 square feet of manufacturing space and a dedicated R&D shop to its Yakima, Washington, headquarters. This also created several job opportunites, which are posted on the company’s web site.
