One of my favorite parts of AirVenture is the opportunity to explore ideas and details at the granular level—details I can bring to my Onex build. You’d think the common trim tab would be—well, common. But no. For the first time in over 30-years of active participation in homebuilding, I saw a trim tab that was perforated along its bend line, making adjustments easier than bending a solid aluminum trim tab. Who knew? Well, not me. So I set about to seeing other trim tab ideas, and I present them here for your consideration.
