0830 on Monday at AirVenture. It’s not a line for the bathroom, donuts… or cheese curds. That’s the line for the Fly Market – the place where you can shop aircraft parts or hardware being sold by others just like you! Some consider it just a way to swap your junk for someone else’s junk… but for pilots and builders, replace the word “junk” with “treasure,” and you’ll understand the line. Oh yes – the entrance is way up there at the far end of the long tent with the peaks on the left. Some folks were going to find the tables picked over by the time they got in the gate. But that’s OK, more “treasures” will come in as the week progresses.
