Everyone said attendance was going to be good at these final races at Reno and they were right.
Thursday, we could sense a definite uptick in fans in the pits. But today feels like Reno of old, where it was tough to walk due to all the folks gawking up the sights. This view of the Formula 1 hangar tells the tale where the teams are already having to part the people when getting their airplanes in and out of the hangar.
It’s good to see the races going out with a bang; it’s an accurate sign of the interest in this storied event.
