We get it folks—its been a long week, you’re tired, and you are ready to put Wittman Field in your mirror and head for home. But PLEASE take your time, don’t rush, and be careful. We don’t have all the details, because we didn’t witness it in person (and EAA generally doesn’t discuss mishaps during the show), but apparently there was a small kerfuffle on the Runway 18 parallel this morning between an RV-4 and an RV-8. The
RV-4 essentially lost its tail when the RV-8 ran over it from behind (so we suspect the RV-8 will need a prop and an engine tear down). Take this as a reminder to slow down, give yourself some distance, be methodical, and look around – we all want everyone to get home safe with no more bent metal!
