Two-hundred eighty-eight airplanes were parking in the Homebuilt area Friday evening, beating the 2019 record of 220. Last night, 174 aircraft were parked in the Homebuilt Camping area and 114 were parked in the parking area. Pilots and passengers who park in the latter area typically stay in local hotels or homes, or camp with non-Homebuilt friends in Camp Scholler.
Arrivals were a little slow this morning due to a modest rain storm over KOSH but the clouds rose and partly cleared in the afternoon, allowing mass arrivals and others to come in.
