In our seventh episode of Metal Magic, KITPLANES editor at large Paul Dye offers the best practices for driving round-head rivets with a squeezer. It’s a fundamental skill that all builders of metal airplanes will want to master. Paul’s having lots of fun in the series, so be sure to watch to the end.

Nice video, as usual, Paul, but seeing you stick your fingers in that squeezer while it was connected to the air hose made me a bit nervous. I saw a guy smash the end of his finger pretty good once (no permanent damage, but I’m sure he wished he wouldn’t have done that!)
How about giving us a close up of the holes before and after de-burring and the before and after of the rivets so that we know what things are supposed to look like.
Thanks to let us understand the basic of riveting.
